The Lake Meade Homemakers is an educational, community service, and social organization. We meet once a month on the second Monday at the Lake Meade Firehouse. All Lake Meaders are welcome to attend. Each meeting, which begins at 12:30, includes a social hour, a business meeting, and an educational program. In addition to our monthly meetings, we have social trips to local areas of interest, and gatherings right here in the lake such as garden and boat parties.

Each year we host two dances at our Community Center, the proceeds of which are given to charity. We also offer ballroom dance lessons. This year we held a House and Garden tour with the proceeds funding a scholarship for a Bermudian Springs student.

Homemakers also offers a program called AID (Aid in Driving). Our purpose is to provide transportation for our Lake Meade neighbors who need assistance getting to doctor appointments or food shopping.click here for more information.
