So many visitors to our web-site have inquired as to why they and/or their family would want to live in the private, gated community of Lake Meade. We thought it would be appropriate to let our friends and neighbors tell you in their own words why they live here: According to Pamela and Richard Hagerman, "it was location, location, location. We always wanted to be near water. Lake Meade is half way between both of our jobs. It's just fun to live here, especially the people we have met!"
Mike and Donna Saguto love all of the activities that are available for their children. Further, Mike and Donna feel "Lake Meade is a very family oriented place to be. The neighbors are awesome, the people are awesome, the water is awesome! My gosh it's a resort. We find it very hard to work at home when you live in such a resort".
You'll find a very diverse population ranging from infants to retirees, families and singles. You'll find everything from the most modern homes to quaint log cabins scattered among our 1,040+ properties. Find yourself enjoying one of our ten recreation areas that are strategically placed laround our 300+ acre lake. These are excellent areas to host a family gathering or just sway lazily on the swings. You'll find everything from hi-tech speedboats pulling water skiers to sailboats slinking across the gentle wakes.
Enjoy the benefits of your very own private community center which hosts a myriad of year-round activities such as holiday musical and outdoor concerts on the gently rolling lawns. During the summer months, take a wild ride down our 2-story waterslide that twists, turns, and meanders eventually plopping you into the end of our Olympic sized swimming pool.
If swimming and boating aren't your thing, feel free to get in a game of tennis at one of our tennis courts. Take a bike ride or jog around our 5-mile Lake Meade Drive perimeter, get involved in our volleyball leagues, become a part of our orchestra, participate in our yearly golf outings, or perhaps join our chorale group.
